Hello! I want to welcome you to my little corner of the internet.
A little about me. I was born and lived on the east coast of Florida for most of my life. I love all things related to the ocean and fishing the inshore waters on the Indian River Lagoon. But life changes and, to grow, we change with it. I am no longer in Florida (for now), but my interests have expanded and so has the website.
This website started many years ago as, primarily, a way for me to talk about fishing and all things fishing related. As time has passed, I have had the opportunity to embrace and explore my other interests and hobbies.
You can expect to find posts on the outdoors, hiking, photography, history and the dumb things I do. Who know, a little fishing might pop in from time to time too.
Also, since I was young, I have been curious about all things creepy, spooky, weird and that go bump in the middle of the night. So, on the “Around the Campfire” page, you will find ghost stories, weird tales, skunkape yarns and anything else that might raise the hair on the back of your neck.
